Costa Teguise boasts a number of attractions that are entirely unique to the resort. Such as the islands only water park, golf course and aquarium. As well as two markets a week.
Aquapark Costa Teguise
No attraction on the island quite divides opinion as the Aquapark in Costa Teguise. Comments to this and other tourist review websites reveal plenty of grumbles – such as freezing cold water, lack of shade and expensive admission charges. Some visitors however love it.
Much seems to depend upon the time of year you choose to visit. During the hottest summer months a visit to the Aquapark is one of the best ways to cool off.
It is also one of the few purpose built attractions on the island for kids. And is within walking distance of the resort.
During the winter months though the unheated water can feel a little more ‘refreshing’.
The Aquapark is located just ten minutes walk from the centre of Costa Teguise, just past the garage on the Avenida de Golf.

Aquarium Costa Teguise
Lanzarote´s only aquarium contains thirty plus giant tanks – which are home to both tropical and indigenious marine life. From sharks to sea urchins and all manner of fish.
This fascinating and colourful display is further enhanced by the special magnifying glass used in some of the tanks – which enables visitors to view species such as sea horses in close-up. And the focal point of the aquarium is a transparent over head tunnel that gives the feeling of being at the bottom of the sea – looking uo from the oceans beds at loads of sea species above.
The Aquarium is located next door to El Trebol Apartments and costs
€12 for adults and €10 for children. Opening times are 10am-7pm daily.
