The team at MA Diving take their clients to the best dive sites around the island and offer a full range of experiences, whether for beginners or advanced divers. There is even a Juniors programme, adapted for children of 10 years and above, which covers every aspect of learning to scuba-dive.
All the instructors are PADI trained and the range of courses available even has something to offer to professional divers. The Tec Rec Deep Course for instance takes divers to a maximum of 50 metres underwater, and encompasses training in gas switches on decompression.
The dive courses are performance based, especially those for beginners, so that the teaching is adapted to each student’s needs and progress.
With over sixteen dive sites to choose from there is a wide range of subterranean adventures waiting to be had. Some dives incorporate sightings of particular submarine creatures, such as sea urchins and red coral. Whilst others focus on the extraordinary rock formations that are the result of volcanic activity, as can be found at the Cathedral and the Blue Hole.
Night dives are also available which gives the experienced diver the chance to see some of the aquatic life which doesn’t surface during the day.
