Visit the incredible Sand Dune Park on the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura, with a trip on the glass bottom catamaran, the Princesa Ico. Visible from Lanzarote as a huge stretch of white sand is the Dunas Parque Nacional – a protected nature reserve of dramatic dunes and beautiful beaches in the northern half of Fuerteventura.
The trip starts in the old harbour of Puerto del Carmen and makes its way down the southern coast of Lanzarote before heading over the Bocaina Straits which separate the two islands. The first stop is at the Dunas Park, before a spot of light shopping and lunch by the sea in the town of Corralejo.
