This excursion takes in several more of Manrique´s creations as well as exploring the beautiful and very different scenery of the north of the island.
Tour Itinerary
The tour starts out with a drive through the 'Malpais' or badlands surrounding the highest volcano in the north, Monte Corona. And it is this volcano which created the subterranean tunnel that has been converted into two separate and amazing attractions - the Cueva de Los Verdes and the Jameos del Agua.
Once we have left the Jameos del Agua, we head towards the northern most tip of Lanzarote, where another of Manrique's masterpieces can be found. The Mirador del Rio overlooks the neighbouring islands of La Graciosa, Montaña Clara and Alegranza, providing stunning views of this archipelago and back down the coast of Lanzarote.
From here, the route wends back through the picturesque town of Haria, nestled in the valley of a thousand palms.
Note: Flat shoes are recommended for the Green Caves.
