This excursion explores the northern half of neighbouring island Fuerteventura, visiting La Oliva, Betancuria and Corralejo.
Tour Itinerary
The ferry takes us over to Fuerteventura via Playa Blanca. After arriving in Corralejo, we make our way to the inland town of La Oliva, which has several historically important buildings, including the church.
After La Oliva, we proceed to Betancuria, a pretty village which was the old capital of the island and is named after the conqueror Jean de Betancort. The next stop is for lunch.
The afternoon is then spent at the beautiful Las Dunas Natural Park, which is an incredible stretch of white sand and turquoise water, just outside Corralejo. We then depart to catch the ferry back to Lanzarote.
