A guided walk along the mountain range of Los Ajaches, that lies to the south of Puerto del Carmen.
The Ajaches
This is the name of the mountain range that lies between Puerto del Carmen and the southern most tip of Lanzarote. The highest peak in this range is known as the Atalaya de Femes and stands at 608 metres. From here, the views down to Playa Blanca and over towards the volcanic region are spectacular.
The walk begins in Femes and heads down one of the side valleys from the Atalaya, towards the little village of Playa Quemada. This walk is considered easy to medium difficulty and requires good walking shoes.
