The countryside surrounding Rancho Caballo is ideal for walking, whilst those who wish to explore the north of the island by car will find that many of Cesar Manrique’s best attractions are within ten minutes of the house, such as the Mirador del Rio, Jameos del Agua and the Jardin del Cactus.

Finca Yaiza

Finca Yaiza is located just outside the pretty village of Yaiza and can sleep up to fourteen people and has a total of seven bedrooms. A typically Spanish style property, the accommodation is organised around several courtyards, one of which contains the swimming pool.
The accommodation is actually divided into the main house, which has four bedrooms, a two bedroom apartment and a studio, allowing family groups and parties of friends their own private space within the overall setting. The entire property is beautifully furnished, with a four poster bed in one of the double bedrooms, a slate lined wet room and other neat touches, such as a waterfall which flows into the swimming pool.
The finca is situated just outside the village, so has all the benefits of peaceful surroundings, whilst facilities such as a supermarket and cash machine is only a couple of minutes drive away. Playa Blanca is the nearest tourist resort, at only ten minutes drive from the property, where visitors can enjoy a large selection of good restaurants, the lovely beaches at Papagayo and the new harbour at Marina Rubicon.

Casa Blanca, Macher

Close to the resort of Puerto del Carmen, the spacious villa of Casa Blanca in Macher can sleep up to 20 guests at a time, making it the perfect property for families and friends who like to travel together.
There are four double bedrooms, two on the upper floor and two on the ground floor and a further four twin bedrooms. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a dishwasher, there is a DVD player in the living room, whilst a separate games room is situated next to the pool. The property is surrounded by gardens and the swimming pool is completely protected by a courtyard wall, ensuring that guests can fully enjoy the outdoor facilities, including the built-in barbecue.
Puerto del Carmen is only a ten minute drive from the property, with its six kilometres of golden beaches, many restaurants, bars, shops and nightlife. A host of activities for children can be found close to hand, with Lanzarote a Caballo, Rancho Texas, and two go-karting circuits, as well as several excursions which operate from the nearby marina at Puerto Calero.
