This tour is a combination of yet more of Cesar Manrique's outstanding work, protected natural spaces, hills and valleys, agricultural terraces, palm trees and stunning, panoramic views.
We head for the "Malpais de Monte Corona" in the north-east, the setting for two of the island's most important and emblematic attractions: The Green Caves and the Jameos Del Agua are perfectly integrated in the last part of a 31 and a half mile long lava tunnel which stretches out to the coast and continues under the sea. Then, we head up to the Mirador del Rio, a panoramic viewpoint set in the cliffs of Famara overlooking the Chinijo islands. We make our way back through Haria, the valley of the thousand palms.
Note: Flat shoes are recommended for the Green Caves.
