The Caserio de Mozaga has been wowing guests since it first opened its doors in 1998. And after a quick tour of the hotel it’s easy to see why. As the owners, Maria Luisa & Gonzalo Rodriguez de Bethencourt, have managed to fuse traditional architecture with modern facilities and an exceedingly laid back atmosphere to create a really outstanding rural retreat. Plus a very high quality restaurant.
Prior to its current incarnation the Caserio de Mozaga was originally the village dairy – built on top of a lava field, which still forms an integral part of the hotels delightful gardens and grounds. Occupying some 40,000 square metres and with loads of nooks and crannies for guests to enjoy.
