On 28th November there will be a chance to sample the cuisine and cultures of various countries in Costa Teguise. This event is a celebration of the International Day of Villages and will be taking place in the car park by Las Cucharas (opposite the Lanzarote Garden Hotel) between 11.00 and 18.00.

Activities will include batucada, the Latin style percussive music which is often a feature of Carnival, a performance of typical songs by Swedish children, Canarian folklore dancing and singing, Bolivian music, folkloric dances from Ecuador and German music. There will also be a bouncy castle and a selection of workshops, with typical foods from around the world available to try.
