The popular celebration of Nuestra Señora del Carmen gets underway this week in Puerto del Carmen. With numerous activities programmed over the next ten days, culminating in the Maritime Procession on Saturday 7th August and fireworks on Sunday 8th August.
The events most likely to be of interest to visitors are the processions and live music and dancing that will be taking place on several nights in the old harbour, beginning on Friday 30th July at 22.00 in Calle Bajamar.
