The 5th annual Feria de Tapa is taking place in Puerto del Carmen across the weekend of October 1st and 2nd, providing a feast of these tiny tasty treats for both tourists and locals alike.

The event has been organized by Saborea Lanzarote whose mission is to take advantage of the growing trend in gastro tourism by building the island’s reputation as an authentic destination for food lovers.

Local chefs and restaurants will be tempting visitors with a wide selection of tapas made from local produce, whilst in the show cooking zone you can learn how to prepare in season octopus. All of which will be accompanied by generous servings of locally produced wines and live music from El Pavon on Saturday at 21.00 and Salvapantallas at 14.30 on Sunday.
