The State Meteorogical Office has placed the islands of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura on Yellow Alert today. As high winds of up to 70km per hour are expected.
These extremely windy conditions are likely to make themselves felt across both islands during the afternoon today. So tourists and residents alike are advised to exercise caution on the island’s roads. Whilst heavy cloud and rain is expected in the north of Lanzarote.
