Lanzarote´s stunning scenery is set to enjoy another starring role, this time on the small screen, in the British produced series The Black Mirror. Which will screen on Netflix later this year.

The Black Mirror made it´s TV debut in 2011 and filming is currently being completed for it´s fourth successful season. The science fiction drama, created by Charlie Brooker, serves up an often dark and satirical insight into the future of humankind and the impact, often unintended, of new technologies And has picked up a whole host of awards and nominations over the last few years.

On Lanzarote filming was focused on Playa Bermeja, which is located in the Natural Volcano Park in the Yaiza region. Where a crew of around 80 actors and technicians captured scenes against the backdrop of Lanzarote´s volcanic vistas.
