If you’re looking for a splashing bit of fun then head for Lanzarote’s only water park, situated just outside Costa Teguise.

Although smaller than many of it’s mainland cousins, the Aquapark still offers bucket loads to do for all of the family; with different attractions to suit all ages.

Teenagers will get a buzz from riding a range of great slides, such as The Kamikaze and The Spiral. They can also try the inflatable jet skis, ride the rapids and enjoy the mother of all water fights in the Water Battle area.

Younger children have their own special pool and slides, as well as trampolines and bouncy castles to enjoy. Trained staff are on hand to supervise the play throughout. So parents can opt to join in or just relax in the heated pool. There’s plenty of sunbathing areas and an on-site bar and restaurant as well.

One word of warning, most of the water isn’t heated here, which is great in Summer, but it can feel cold in Winter.
