The marina of Puerto Calero also holds a number of sporting events — mainly water based — to enjoy, such as scuba-diving at the PADI Diving School, WIndsurfing, Paragliding, Waterskiing and jetskis to name a few.

For anybody who prefers dry land, the 18 hole Lanzarote golf club is only a 15 minute drive away and the riding centre of Lanzarote a Caballo is only ten minutes.

Summary

The Costa Calero hotel is a nice addition to the range of places to stay in Lanzarote, and for those who love Lanzarote but want to be away from the hustle and bustle of resort towns like Puerto del Carmen, it is well worth a visit.
