A luxury retreat with unique facilities, this finca offers stylish accommodation powered by solar and wind energy sources. The property is spaciously distributed with a large living room, with seating for eight people, open plan kitchen, two bedrooms with space to sleep up to six and two bathrooms. The house has been carefully constructed using local volcanic stone and wood, and furnished with Moroccan fixtures. The sleeping accommodation is arranged so that there is one master bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom, a second bedroom with two single beds and a sofa bed and further sofa bed/futon in the living room.
The accommodation is situated on a former farm, with the estate covering 30,000 square metres of land. Converted out of a former water deposit, the property blends harmoniously into its surroundings. There are two natural wells within the grounds, numerous solar panels and windmills provide the power to the property and free range eggs are served up for breakfast from the finca’s chickens. The exterior space offers plenty of entertaining possibilities as well, with a thatch covered open dining area, outdoor kitchen, Polynesian day bed for poolside lounging, swimming pool, mature gardens and gas barbecue.
The finca is located a couple of minutes from the beach at Arrieta, at the bottom of the Temisa valley, with beautiful sea and mountain views. The village of Arrieta provides plenty of restaurants for dining out, a golden sandy beach which is suitable for small children and supermarkets for those who enjoy self-catering. Several of the island’s best tourist attractions are within close driving distance of the finca, providing daytime activities to those with children. There are also ample opportunities to explore the surrounding countryside, either walking or cycling.
