La Asomada is widely regarded as one of the best locations on the island, not least as it offers really stunning views down to the coast and sea below. The village is located around ten minutes drive from the main resort of Puerto del Carmen but really is a world away from the hustle and bustle - offering seclusion and tranquillity in abundance. There are a couple of small shops here and the local village sociedad (social club) offers good value food and drink.
