The small town of Tias makes a great base for a Lanzarote rural villa holiday.
Puerto del Carmen is just ten minutes away by car and the town itself boasts a host of bars and restaurants, shops and supermarkets.
Tias is the administrative capital of the municipality of the same name, so it is relatively lively in relation to our other rural villa locations.
It is also centrally placed on the island, making it a great base for exploring Lanzarote's best-known attractions, such as the Volcano Park at Timanfaya, just ten to fifteen minutes drive away.
