Bar Galeria
Situated in the historic former capital of Teguise, Bar Galeria prides itself on creating dishes using fresh local produce. The specialties of the house are therefore constantly changing, depending on what the day’s catch has been, but it will usually include mussels, clams, fish such as abey and merluza and prawns on the grill. There are often Canarian dishes such as rabbit and goat, all executed with a careful eye on presentation and flavours. More unusually, and to cater to the cosmopolitan tastes of visitors to the town, chef Javier also offers vegetarian dishes. Bar Galeria also plays host to live music on Sundays.
