Tias is thriving residential town overlooking the popular resort of Puerto del Carmen. It is also the administrative heart of the district that bears the same name.
As a result it is a popular residential location with both locals and ex-pats and offers good facilities – in terms of shopping and restaurants. Importantly, the new golf course, planned for completion in Summer 2007, lies just outside the town.
