Full Moon Dinner at MIAC

This weekend a special full moon dinner and concert package is being offered at the Castillo de San José, home of the Museum of International Contemporary Art (MIAC), in Arrecife. On both Friday 9th and Saturday 10th September diners can enjoy cocktails, dinner and a classical music concert for an inclusive price of €35.

The menu that has been devised by the head chef at the MIAC restaurant, which was desgined by César Manrique includes the following dishes:

 

First Course


Mille-feuille of seasonal vegetables with cheese in extra virgin olive oil

 

Carpaccio of conger eel with capers in basil

 

Main Course


Cherne or grouper fish with onion stock and ‘lunar influence’

 

Sirloin of Iberian pork in whisky with strips of dried peach

 

Dessert


Flan of quince jelly served with gofio ice cream

 

Accompanying the dishes are the white Volcanic Malvasia and a red Lanzarote denominated wine, followed by coffee.

A full moon cocktail will be served at the bar in the restaurant from 21.30, before the dinner is served.
