Jacob Leuschner Performs At The Camel House

The atmospheric venue of the Camel House in Macher, brainchild of the famous British musician and entrepreneur Sir Ernest Hall, plays host to the eminent piano soloist Jacob Leuschner this Friday and Saturday the 28th and 29th of September, with tickets costing €25.

Born in Freiburg in 1974 born Leuschner studied at Germany´s leading classical music academies before going on to build a highly acclaimed career as both a soloist and chamber musician. Reaping numerous wards such as the German Music Competition and the Wiesbaden Mozart Prize, whilst also performing with leading ensembles such as the Hamburg Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra and the Klassische Philharmonie Bonn. Whilst also giving master classes in countries around the world and accepting prestigious positions such as the director of the Euro Music Festival in 2011.

This accomplished performer primarily focuses on the masters of the classical Viennese period such as Mozart and Beethoven and on Friday the 28th Leuschner´s programme features plenty of works from these masters as all as other more contemporary composers such as John Cage. With Saturday´s programme focusing exclusively on the work of Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven.
