Take The Tapas Route Through Arrecife

A new Tapas Route through Arrecife gives food lovers the chance to fill up on these tasty snack sized portions at numerous eateries from this Thursday 11th October through until Saturday 20th in 24 bars and restaurants located throughout the capital.

Each restaurant will be creating their own special range of tapas dishes showcasing the best of local produce and these will be available for just €1 each.  All of the participating bars and restaurants also carry details about an easy to enter competition which carries a top prize of a meal for two people at the atmospheric restaurant located in the Castillo de San José in the Museum of International Contemporary Art in Arrecife.

To enter, just pick up a Tapas Passport from any of the bars and restaurants taking part in the promotion, collect a minimum of 12 stamps from 12 separate establishments and enter into the draw for the top prize.

The Tapas Route is designed to promote awareness of the capital’s many restaurant options and culminates in an event on the final day, Saturday 20th, which will be taking place in the Parque Ramirez Cerda on the seafront in Arrecife, from 13.00 onwards. Yet more tapas dishes accompanied by local wines will be available to all at the cost of just €1, whilst the draw for the main prize of the meal for two at the Castillo will also be made.

Amongst the 24 restaurants and bars taking part in the initiative are Casa Ginory in the Charco de San Gines, La Recova, Lilium in Calle Jose Antonio, La Ribera, Cofradia de Pescadores in Puerto Naos, the Cerveceria El Charco, El Notario and La Tentacion.
