Tune In To Addictive TV At Sonidos Liquidos

The Liquid Sounds collective will be staging their last event of the year on Lanzarote this Saturday June 20th at Bodega La Geria. Promising a real feast for the senses and giving tourists the opportunity to enjoy an eclectic mix of music and gastronomy whilst also drinking in the raw and surreal scenery of the island’s wine growing region.

Sonidos Liquidos enjoy a fast growing reputation for staging high quality live experiences and events both on the island and around Europe. With the accent here on Lanzarote very much on the promotion of local viniculture and gastronomy, as well as the unique and stunning landscapes of La Geria.

And this Saturday’s event promises to be no exception, as it features a great looking line-up that includes Vetusta Morla, widely regarded as one of the leading live acts around by Rolling Stone magazine. Along with the highly infectious jazzy, Afrobeat sounds of Los 300, R&B from Anaut, local pop rockers The Kraters and DJ Denis Rodd.

But British tourists may be even more moved by the appearance of UK based electronic duo Addictive TV. Who were once eloquently and memorably described by no less an authority than Grandmaster Flash as “next kevel shit” and by The Times as “mind bending live entertainment”, thanks to their heavy emphasis on the visual as well as the audio, creating music you can see as well as hear.

The Addictive TV duo of Graham Daniels and Mark Vidler achieve this cross cultural mash up by fusing images and sounds sampled from movies and videos into one highly danceable mix.

The event gets underway from 17.00 and tickets cost €25 in advance or €30 on the door, subject to availability.
