Sounds Like Summer - Music Festivals and Fiestas

Fancy taking in some live music this weekend? Then you’re spoilt for choice as the island plays host to not one but two events over the next few days in the former island capital of Teguise and in Los Pocillos, just outside Puerto del Carmen.

Lanzarote Summer Music Festival

Of this brace of events the Lanzarote Summer Music Festival is the first out of the blocks. Kicking off with an open mic Karaoke All Stars event tonight before a packed programme of live performances on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th. All of the action takes place in the Plaza de Los Naciones in Los Pocillos – the large beach based just outside Puerto del Carmen as you drive in the direction of Matagorda and the airport – and is entirely free of charge.
