TUNE UP Trondheim Soloists Take The Stage

The 32nd annual Canary Islands International Music Festival is now tuning up across the archipelago and features some of the heavyweights from the choral and classical scene such as the London Philharmonic.

Next week on Thursday the 14th January it is Lanzarote’s turn in the spotlight as the Trondheim Soloists take to the stage at the Teatro Insular in Arrecife with their own unique and upbeat interpretations of the classics.

Despite hailing from a small Norwegian town the Trondheim Soloists are now a big noise in the contemporary classical compendium, having been nominated for five Grammy’s in recent years whilst also picking up numerous plaudits for their passionate performances in major auditoriums around the world from New York to Cape Town.

Under the direction of Oyvind Gimse they’ll be performing pieces by some of the greatest composers such as Bach and Tchaikovsky from 21.00 onwards and tickets are priced at €15. For more information and ticket bookings visit the official Canary Islands International Music Festival website.
