Catch some contemporary Canarian music free of charge this Sunday as Germán López and guitarist Antonio Toledo perform live at the Casa Museo de Timple in the heart of the town.

The concert takes place on the same day as Teguise´s weekly market and admission is on a free, but first come first served basis - so you may need to arrive well before doors close at midday to beat the crowds.

Born on Gran Canaria, Germán López is widely regarded as one of the leading contemporary performers of the timple - a small guitar that forms the bedrock of traditional Canarian folklore music. In conjunction with Toledo the duo have been conducting an international tour in recent months, taking in venues across Europe and North America - as well as across the archipelago.
