Film score favourites from movies such as Star Wars and The Wizard of Oz top the bill at this Saturday´s Candelit Concert in Arrecife.

This atmopsheric annual event is now entering it´s fourth year and the Classical Orchestra of Lanzarote will be performing live in the El Charco area of the capital, with capacity for around 2,000 spectators who are admitted on a first come first served basis.

The Orchestra will be backed by over 500 candles and some spectacular new staging on a platform situated in the small inland lagoon of El Charco. With a reportoire covering 20 classic tracks from popular film scores - scenes from which will also be projected onto giant balloons along with three movements from Handel´s Water Music.

The event gets underway from 22.00 on Saturday July 1st and admission is free of charge - but arrive early to avoid disappointment.
