Spring Concerts Continue At Tourist Centres

The cycle of Spring Concerts at Lanzarote´s tourist attractions continue later this month. With classical, opera and chamber music concerts scheduled for both the Museum of International Contemporary Art (MIAC) and at the Cueva de los Verdes. Featuring internationally renowned pianists Michel Wagermans and Mine Kamakawi.

The season will feature concerts at both the Castillo San José in Arrecife, home to the Museum of International Contemporary Art (MIAC) and at the Cueva de los Verdes, with each venue hosting an event on alternate weekends.

The concerts at the Castillo de San José are all scheduled to last for 30 minutes and cost just €10. They will vary between opera and chamber music. The events organized in the Cueva de los Verdes will last for seventy minutes and tickets to attend these will cost €20. International musicians, such as Michael Wagermans, will be playing at the auditorium here.

On Wednesday April 20th the Trio Nacares will be playing at the Castillo de San José. The group comprises Stefana Valeria on violin, Carlos Rivero on the cello and Natalia Falcon on the piano. Whilst on Thursday 21st April the same group will be playing at the Cueva de los Verdes and on Saturday 23rd a Walk Through Broadway is the theme of the evening´s music at the Cueva de los Verdes. Each concert starts at 20.30.

The full programme will be unveiled in the next few weeks, with concerts scheduled in both venues until June.
