BRANDED New Atlantico Museum ID Unveiled

The brand identity for Lanzarote's much awaited new tourist attraction, the Museo Atlantico, has now been selected. And will be appearing on a wide range of marketing materials and promotional merchandise in the build up to it's launch.

The Museo Atlantico has been created just off the coast of Playa Blanca by the British artist and sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor and is set to formally open to the public in January 2017.

Taylor has submerged around 300 life size sculptures, based on real life locals in the waters of the Atlantic. Over time these figures will become living coral reefs, creating an attraction that will appeal to tourists whilst also conveying a powerful message about climate change and marine conservation.

Island authorities have been running a contest to find a brand identity for this attraction and a winning entry, described as The Silent Logo, by Madrid based design studio Wearemonobo has been selected.
