FOG HORN London Weather Disrupts Tourist Flights

After last week´s travel disruption caused by storms in the Canary Islands tourists flying to Lanzarote and other destinations from airports in the South East of England have been subject to delays this morning, thanks to the appearance of some good old fashioned fog in the region.

The dense fog in the London area has already caused considerable disruption this morning, as air traffic controllers at affected airports have had to allow more time between landings and take offs, resulting inevitably in delays. With British Airways urging passengers to check their flight´s status before traveling to the airport.

Currently, the weather has impacted upon the arrival of the 11.30am Ryanair flight from Stansted and further delays and disruption are possible throughout the day.
