WALK ON Take Your Free Tour Of Teguise

Tourists wishing to discover more about the former island capital of Teguise can now enjoy totally free guided walks from April 5th.

These walking tours are organised by the local council and are now resuming after a winter break. Allowing visitors to find out more about the architecture and fascinating history of one of the oldest settlement´s in the Canary Islands, which was ravaged by pirate raids during the 16th and 17th centuries.

These low difficulty walks are conducted by official guides in both English and Spanish and set off every Wednesday, between 10.00 and 13.00, from the Casa Museo del Timple in the Plaza de la Constitucion. Whilst the walks are free you have to reserve a spot as groups are limited to 40 people - just visit  to secure a slot.
