Spread the word – Lanzarote’s sixth annual Cheese and Goat Fair gets underway in Playa Blanca this coming weekend, Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th of March.

Organised by Saborea Lanzarote the Fair is a celebration of all things goat – an animal that has played a key sustaining role in the local diet here on Lanzarote for many centuries. This weekend’s event promises to be a real cracker, incorporating a whole host of gastronomic experiences alongside wine tasting, workshops, show cooking and live music, enabling tourists to engage with local artisans and chefs and enjoy a real taste of traditional local flavours.

The event gets underway from 18.00 on Saturday, with live music from 21.30 and on Sunday from 11.00 through until around 15.30.
