No less than nine Michelin stars will be on display at Lanzarote’s annual gastro-fest Saborea Lanzarote this weekend…

Now entering it’s eighth year, Saborea Lanzarote is being staged in the former island capital of Teguise this coming Saturday November 24th and Sunday the 25th. And amongst the many attractions is the Aula del Gusto showcase, where visitors can learn some of the tricks of the trade from leading chefs, including Paco Perez and Diego Guerro, (holder of five and two Michelin stars respectively).

Kids are also catered to at this year’s event, as children aged 6 to 14 years are welcomed by Aina Roglan, star of Spain’s version of the TV show Masterchef.

As in previous years there will be around 100 stalls displaying their wares, encompassing local bodegas, organic food producers and restuarants. As well as a special Tasting the Canaries Corner, where chefs from each of the island’s will be showing off their local specialities and lots of live music.
