Despite the feared negative impact of Brexit, tourist arrivals on Lanzarote remained buoyant during the first four months of this year, according to the latest data released by ISTAC, the Canarian Institute of Statistics.

Their latest figures reveal that Lanzarote in fact led the way in the Canaries, attracting 4.2% more visitors year on year up to April end, whilst all of the other islands notched up negative numbers, with the sole exception of Tenerife where tourist touchdowns rose by 2.6%.
