Tourists based in Yorkshire will now be able to book Ryanair flights to Lanzarote from their local airport next winter. As the budget airline yesterday announced the addition of services to Lanzarote from Leeds Bradford airport as part of their new winter schedule.

The new Ryanair winter schedule from Leeds Bradford will operate on two aircraft across 11 routes. And is expected to grow Ryanair passenger numbers at the airport by some 10% over the coming year to one million passengers. Lanzarote flights will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays during the winter, with a departure time of 10.55 on both days. Headline ticket prices before taxes and extras start at £39.99.

According to Michael O'Leary, Ryanair's CEO, Ryanair is delighted to launch its winter 2011/12 schedule from Leeds Bradford which offers passengers 11 routes, including the extension of our popular Lanzarote route to our winter schedule. Ryanair will now deliver over 1million passengers p.a. and sustain over 1,000 local jobs at Leeds Bradford Airport and in the Yorkshire region. To celebrate the launch of our winter schedule and our new route we are releasing 1m £9.99 seats for travel in June on over 500 Ryanair routes throughout Europe.
