Oscar's RestaurantFor some of the best cooking in Costa Teguise, head to Oscars Restaurant. This Belgian owned restaurant offers a delightful range of international dishes, which are well executed and presented. It also has one of the prettiest outdoor terraces to dine on during the summer months, so do visit the restaurant for an al-fresco meal to remember.

Menu options include a classic Caesar salad with fresh anchovies as a starter, noodles with prawns and chillis, sweet and sour fish and even genuine vegetarian options. The choice of accompanying vegetables is also excellent. Steak lovers will not be disappointed by the selection of beef dishes available. Oscars also have some great deserts, including the unmissable Belgian waffles with cherries and hot chocolate sauce. A two course meal for two with wine is roughly €50-€60.

With a great range of meat, fish and even game, such as stewed partridge, on offer as main courses. Two course meal for two with wine is approximately €50-€60.

El Navarro

Widely regarded as one of the best restaurants in the resort, if not Lanzarote, El Navarro serves modern international cuisine in unprepossesing surroundings close to the Santa Rosa complex and Coronas Playa Hotel, in the Playa Bastian area of Costa Teguise.  The food here is rich and portions are generous, so take your appetite with you.  And make sure you book, as the restaurant is both small and very popular, making it difficult to secure a table.  Starters are priced from €4.50 to €7.75 and mains from €12 to €15.  Highly recommended.
