Lanzarote Taxis

Taxis are a useful means of transport on Lanzarote and relatively inexpensive, especially for shorter hops. The dearth of public bus services from Arrecife airport to the main resorts means that many tourists end up catching a cab from outside the arrivals hall.  

Catching A Cab

Taxis in Lanzarote are metered and can be flagged down in the street if the green light on their roof is lit.  There are also designated ranks in various areas in each of the main resorts and major towns such as Arrecife and Teguise.

At the airport the taxi rank is located directly outside the arrivals hall at Terminal 1.

The prices below are based on two people sharing a taxi from Arrecife airport to each of the main resorts.  These prices have been taken from the official Lanzarote Taxis website and are correct at the time of writing.  Actual fares may be higher or lower, depending on other factors such as the time of day, number of passengers and quantity of luggage.

Airport - Puerto del Carmen
