About Lanzarote Guidebook
Lanzarote Guidebook has been created by long term residents of the island and is based in the north of Lanzarote in the village of Tabayesco.
Editor - Nick Ball
It is edited by Nick Ball, who previously worked in PR and Marketing in the UK for brands such as Ben & Jerry´s Ice Cream, Nescafé and Red Stripe. Nick chose to swap life in London for Lanzarote and has lived on the island since 2001. He lives in the north of Lanzarote and continues to enjoy exploring and writing about his adopted home.
Online Since 2004
The Lanzarote Guidebook website was first launched in 2004 with the initial remit of providing in depth island information. Largely in reaction to the scarcity of good quality online resources available at that time.
Since then the Lanzarote Guidebook website has grown to become a very popular tourist information resource, attracting an average monthly audience of 110,000 visitors.
In Print Since 2007
The first print edition of Lanzarote Guidebook was launched in 2007, providing tourists with the same in depth information along with high quality visuals of the island.
Lanzarote Guidebook is published quarterly and distributed direct to tourists free of charge. It can also be downloaded free of charge via the website.
The success of Lanzarote Guidebook has led to expansion into the creation of further travel websites in other key holiday markets, such as Ibiza, Majorca and Portugal.
