CAFÉ CULTURE Canarian Duo Debut Disc In Teguise
The guitarist Tomás Fariña and the flautist Tania Fernández will be airing extracts from their new album Café at the Casa Museo del Timple in the historic environs of Teguise this coming Friday, April 21st.
The Tenerife born twosome favour a Hispanic American flavour and are heavily influenced by some of the most famed modern Latin composers. Such as Argentinian born Astor Piazzola, who was first to pioneer the blend of tango, jazz and classical that became known as the New Tango school. Their showcase gets underway at 21.00 and tickets are priced at 10 euros.
