A British owned bar was robbed by the same team behind the recent Aquapark armed raid, according to local police sources….

Scottish couple Gill Hewiitt and Scott Proudfoot, owners of Flinstones Bar in Costa Teguise, were subjected to a terrifying armed raid last month. As masked raiders wielding a replica firearm ambushed them in search of their takings as they returned home from work at their beachfront bar in Playa Cucharas.

The intruders fired shots into the air and assaulted the male, who later required hospital treatment for his injuries. Before making off with some 7,000 euros in takings and other valuable seized from their home.

The shocking incident occurred on August 11th, just one week before another armed raid on the Aquapark in Costa Teguise. And local police have now arrested two men, who they believe are connected with both incidents.
